I debated for a long time what I wanted the title of this blog to be. Let’s be honest, coming up with a blog title is seriously ten times harder than it needs to be. I tried to get Josh’s opinion because I wanted some cutesy name using our last name (almost said “his last name”…I’m still getting used to the idea that it’s my last name now too) but all he came up with was “We are the Jorgensens” so as great as that is, we kept thinking. After lots of choices that also weren’t super great (Jorgensen Loony Bin, Jorgy and Me and No Chagrin with Jorgensen) we ended up coming up with “From Freckle to Freckle.”

So let me just explain why this name is actually super adorable.

One night I was with Josh and he asked how much I loved him. I was playing with his arm at the time and noticed he has two small freckles on his arm and I said “from this freckle to this freckle.” From then on it became our answer any time one of us asked a question like that. Now we just say “from freckle to freckle” and we know that means we love each other a lot.
